Accessible beaches
The city's seafront is among Europe's most accessible: wooden pasarelas to the sand, amphibious chairs with volunteers and adapted showers on most stretches.
The access points
Each main beach has its accessibility point in season: amphibious chairs, water crutches and assisted swimming at midday hours. Request them at the lifeguard post with short notice.
The whole promenade
The seafront is flat, continuous and with adapted restrooms every few hundred meters: a wheelchair covers the entire waterfront from port to Fòrum without a serious barrier.
Planning the day
Arrive early at the access point in July and August, bring your own shade and expect the nearest adapted beach bar to sit two hundred meters into the sand. Reserved parking exists at every access.
